Jimmy is one of the most honest mechanics you can find. We have been using his shop for the past few years on my used vehicles. Prices are so reasonable and does not try to upsell work that does not need to be done. Work is done in a timely fashion. This business is such a pleasure to deal with. I don’t normally write reviews, but I’m just so flabbergasted that I just have to give NYS DT&A and their mechanics the recognition. Here it is in a nutshell, not only did the cost of my original repair come in much less than expected ((I forgot THEY DONT CHARGE LABOR... which in itself is nuts!) but after they fix the problem, they did a sweep of the rest of the car and found 3 other things one of which was “the ball bearings...I could be wrong in the name) anyway - I told him to go ahead with the other repairs and when I drove the car after it was all done I was completely amazed because the second repair that they found (whatever it was) made my car like it was new! I always thought that the roughness of the drive was just because the car was old.... who knew! Absolutely thrilled!!!
Saw an ad on them not charging for labor thought it was a gimmick but it really isn't. Jimmy is awesome took my car to him for something minor was in & out in 4 hrs. Then had an bigger issue & they fixed my car in 1day. Now my husband says just like you need a family lawyer you need a family mechanic & this place is it. Thx nys tire & auto your the best
